United Kingdom safety technology presentation and exhibition in Vilnius
This year October 24 The British Embassy, together with the International Trade Department’s Defense & Security Organization (DSO DiT), hosted the UK’s “table top” exhibition of safety technologies. The event brought together UK-based companies providing security-assuring technologies that introduced new and interesting technical innovations of today that could be used to enhance the quality of national security in the Baltic States.
UK Ambassador Andrew John Pearce and Vice-Minister of National Defense Giedrimas Jeglinskas attended the opening ceremony. Gintautas Zinkevičius, Chief Advisor of the State Border Guard Service, introduced the activities of the VSAT.
During the opening of the event, the UK’s participating companies presented short presentations of their activities. More information about each company’s activities was made available to company stands, in direct contact with business representatives.
